Hybrid/Northeast/Mid Atlantic (Massachusetts to Virginia) The Director of State Government Affairs will provide direction, coordination and execution of State Policy and Government Affairs initiatives, and advocacy efforts, related to Organon’s U.S. objectives. Direct responsibility for policy and advocacy in states in the Northeast and other key areas. Providing analysis and engagement with the U.S. commercial organization, the Global Government Affairs and Policy team, the broader Global External Affairs organization. Responsibilities

The Director of State Government Affairs & Policy will lead and execute Organon’s U.S. state policy and advocacy strategy, with primary responsibility for the Northeast and other key states. This highly visible role partners closely with U.S. Commercial, Federal Policy, Global Government Affairs, Market Access, Communications, and Legal teams to advance Organon’s business and public policy objectives. What You’ll Do Develop and implement state public policy and legislative strategies aligned with Organon’s priorities. Represent Organon before state legislators, executive branch officials, regulators, and key external stakeholders. Manage state-level advocacy across multiple regions, with flexibility based on business needs. Oversee external consultants, policy initiatives, budgets, and political engagement programs. Ensure compliance with all state lobbying, ethics, and campaign finance requirements. Represent Organon in trade associations and external coalitions. Qualifications

Experience & Qualifications Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred. 10+ years of experience in state government affairs or health policy, including 5+ years in biopharma. Proven success developing and executing state legislative and advocacy strategies. Strong understanding of state healthcare policy, coverage, and reimbursement. Excellent communication, relationship‑building, and analytical skills.
