We are seeking an experienced
Dynamics 365 Field Service Consultant (m/f/x)
to join our team and support the design, implementation, and optimization of Microsoft’s Field Service solutions. In this role, you will work closely with business stakeholders and our internal Center of Excellence team, to deliver high‑quality, scalable, and user‑friendly service management solutions. You will play a critical role in enabling efficient field operations, improving customer service, and integrating Field Service into the broader Dynamics 365 solution within the Elevion Group.
Key Responsibilities Solution Design & Business Analysis
Lead workshops to understand existing service processes and identify business requirements.
Design end‑to‑end solutions covering work order management, resource scheduling, asset management, and mobile field service processes.
Translate business needs into functional specifications.
System Configuration & Implementation
Configure Dynamics 365 Field Service, including entity setup, workflows, service tasks, SLA rules, and scheduling configurations.
Design and support integrations with other D365 modules (Finance, Supply Chain, Customer Service).
Testing & Quality Assurance
Support with the preparation of test scenarios, functional, integration, and user acceptance testing.
Ensure that implemented solutions meet performance, quality, and compliance requirements.
Training & User Enablement
Deliver training sessions for the key-users
Develop training materials, user guides, and documentation to support adoption.
Act as a trusted adviser to business stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
Provide application life cycle support
Analyze system usage and identify enhancement opportunities.
Recommend best practices and new functionality to continuously improve service operations.
Required Skills & Qualifications Functional Expertise
Strong knowledge of Dynamics 365 Field Service modules, including:
Work Order Management
Resource Scheduling / RSO
Customer Assets & preventive maintenance
Field Service Mobile
Inventory and service parts management
Understanding of service operations and field service processes.
Technical Skills
Hands‑on configuration experience within Dynamics 365 and Power Platform.
Familiarity with IoT and Connected Field Service is a plus.
Business & Soft Skills
Strong analytical skills and ability to map business processes to technical solutions.
Excellent communication and workshop facilitation skills.
Ability to collaborate effectively with cross‑functional teams.
Experience in agile or hybrid project environments.
Preferred Background
2+ years of experience in Dynamics 365 or CRM consulting.
Experience in field service industries such as energy, utilities, maintenance, engineering, or manufacturing is an advantage
Microsoft certification MB‑240 (Microsoft Dynamics 365 Field Service Functional Consultant) is an advantage.
