Mid - Level IT Director Security Compliance/MSP

This is a unique opportunity for a Security Training Director to join a smaller non profit based in Wilmington, Delaware. This hybrid role blends hands‑on cybersecurity leadership with training and compliance oversight, supporting both internal teams and external clients. The environment is heavily focused on security best practices, regulatory compliance, and real‑world application, with additional exposure to MSP infrastructure and support operations.
Required Skills & Experience
5+ years of experience in cybersecurity, information security, or risk/compliance
Strong knowledge of security compliance frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001, SOC 2, HIPAA, or similar)
Experience designing and delivering security training programs
Ability to translate technical security concepts into business‑friendly language
Experience working in MSP or multi‑client environments
Desired Skills & Experience
Security certifications (CISSP, CISM, CRISC, or similar)
Experience conducting risk assessments and audits
Background in IT infrastructure, systems, or network administration
Experience working directly with executive leadership or clients
