Sales Development Rep (SDR) – Blue Springs, MO Meyer Lab is seeking a highly motivated Sales Development Representative (SDR) who will work from home and report to the Sales Development Manager. The SDR will prospect, cold‑call, and qualify leads to schedule pre‑qualified sales appointments for Sales Managers, playing a key role in expanding our customer base and driving revenue growth. Strong communication, persistence, and a results‑driven mindset are essential. Candidates must live within 25 miles of Blue Springs, MO.

Responsibilities

Conduct high‑volume outbound prospecting through calls, emails, and social media outreach.

Generate and qualify leads by engaging with potential customers and understanding their needs.

Schedule pre‑qualified sales appointments for Outside Sales Managers.

Utilize company‑provided tools and CRM software to manage leads and track outreach efforts.

Overcome objections effectively and build strong rapport with prospects.

Execute targeted email campaigns to nurture relationships and drive engagement.

Maintain accurate records in the CRM, including call notes, lead status updates, and scheduled appointments.

Meet or exceed performance metrics, including daily call targets, email outreach, appointment setting, and revenue goals.

Collaborate with Sales Managers and Business Development Teams to optimize lead generation strategies.

Participate in weekly team meetings, training sessions, and professional development activities.

Contribute to special projects and initiatives as directed by leadership.

Required Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Must live within 25 miles of Blue Springs, MO.

Strong work ethic and proven track record of meeting or exceeding goals.

Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.

Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, target‑driven environment.

Experience using CRM software (HubSpot, Salesforce, or NetSuite preferred).

Experience with RingCentral or calling center platforms and ZoomInfo for prospecting is preferred.

Prior experience in sales, business development, or a call‑center environment is a plus.

Must have a dedicated, distraction‑free workspace for remote work.

High‑speed internet connection (employee‑provided).

Availability to work in‑office several times per month as scheduled (unless approved for out‑of‑state work).

Travel & Physical Requirements

Hybrid role with occasional in‑office work required.

Remote work permitted with manager approval.

Desk and computer work required.

Lifting up to 50 lbs.
