PCMI (Policy Claim Management International) is a fast‑growing, leading provider of integrated software for Extended Warranty Management and Finance and Insurance (F&I) administration. We are a SaaS company that operates in a fast‑paced, entrepreneurial environment. Our three teams located in the US, Poland, and Thailand work collaboratively around the clock to build our PCRS platform that automates the full administration lifecycle of all extended warranties, F&I products, and service contracts for our customers.
What You’ll Do The Director of Engineering will lead our Platform and Cloud Operations organization, with a strong focus on DevOps transformation, CI/CD, observability, and secure operations. This leader will drive the evolution from traditional release and operations models to a modern, automated, and highly observable platform—enabling faster delivery, improved reliability, and scalable growth across our Azure‑based environment. Experience with AWS is strongly preferred to support ongoing migration efforts from acquired platforms into Azure.
In This Role, You Will
Lead the transformation to CI/CD and continuous delivery, moving away from legacy release cycles.
Establish scalable build, test, and deployment pipelines across all engineering teams.
Standardize engineering practices to improve deployment frequency, lead time, and release quality.
Drive a culture of automation, reducing manual processes and operational toil.
Build and scale observability capabilities (monitoring, logging, tracing) across the platform.
Define and operationalize SLOs/SLAs, alerting, and incident response practices.
Improve system reliability, performance, and resilience under load.
Own and evolve cloud infrastructure across Microsoft Azure.
Drive infrastructure‑as‑code, environment standardization, and platform scalability.
Lead performance optimization and cloud cost efficiency initiatives.
Lead migration of acquired AWS environments into Azure, ensuring minimal disruption, performance parity, and cost optimization.
Define and execute a clear AWS‑to‑Azure migration strategy, including architecture alignment, tooling, and decommissioning of legacy AWS infrastructure.
Build and lead high‑performing platform, DevOps, SRE, and SecOps teams.
What You’ll Need to Join Our Team
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent work experience.
10+ years in engineering, with strong leadership experience at Director or Sr. Manager level.
Proven success leading DevOps and CI/CD transformations at scale.
Deep experience building observability and reliability engineering practices (SRE mindset).
Strong hands‑on experience with Microsoft Azure.
Experience implementing security operations and DevSecOps practices.
Expertise in infrastructure‑as‑code, automation, and modern DevOps toolchains.
Demonstrated ability to improve system performance, stability, and engineering velocity.
Experience in enterprise SaaS or regulated environments preferred.
Previous experience managing the daily workflow of the department.
Previous experience training, hiring, and recruiting new staff.
