The Senior Business Development Associate (Senior BDA) generates demand for AutoCruitment’s services by delivering high-quality, qualified leads through strategic outreach, thoughtful qualification, and consistent follow-up. As a key bridge between the prospect, Marketing, and Sales, the Senior BDA ensures leads are effectively aligned to client needs and positioned to convert into pipeline. In addition to execution, this role plays a critical part in elevating the effectiveness of the Business Development function within Marketing by improving lead quality, optimizing workflows, maintaining strong CRM data integrity, and supporting junior team members. The Senior BDA operates with a high degree of autonomy, consistently meets lead-generation targets, and identifies opportunities to enhance team performance, outreach effectiveness, and funnel progression. Key Responsibilities: Advanced Lead Generation & Qualification: Owns lead generation and qualification outcomes by consistently delivering high-quality opportunities that convert to pipeline. Applies strong judgment to assess fit, prioritize efforts, and manage more complex or strategic accounts. Execution Excellence & Optimization: Executes outreach and follow-up with a high degree of accuracy, consistency, and efficiency while identifying opportunities to improve workflows, messaging, and overall execution effectiveness across the function. CRM & Data Integrity: Maintains high standards of CRM data quality, ensuring accurate tracking of lead lifecycle, sources, and engagement to support reliable reporting and funnel visibility. Team Enablement: Supports the onboarding and influences the day-to-day success of junior BDAs by providing guidance, sharing best practices, and helping to improve execution quality across the team. Marketing & Sales Collaboration: Partners with Marketing to align on priorities, improve lead quality, and deliver actionable insights that enhance campaign and conversion performance, while also collaborating with Sales to strengthen the lead handoff process and ensure smooth pipeline organization. Specific Responsibilities: Consistently meets or exceeds lead generation and qualification quotas Manages outreach, follow-up, and engagement across inbound and outbound channels with minimal oversight Handles more complex, high-value, or strategic accounts Ensures sales handoffs are clean, complete, and actionable Executes all activities with a high level of accuracy, minimizing errors and rework across outreach, qualifications, and CRM updates Identifies recurring issues in lead quality, targeting, and follow-ups, and recommends improvements Contributes to the refinement of outreach strategies, templates, and prioritization approaches Maintains accurate and consistent CRM data, including lifecycle stages, sources, campaign attributions, and activity tracking Identifies and resolves data quality issues before they impact reporting or downstream teams Supports onboarding and ramp-up of junior BDAs Provides day-to-day guidance and helps remove execution-related blockers Provides structured feedback on lead quality, messaging effectiveness, and market response Surfaces insights to inform targeting, sequencing, and nurture strategies Key Qualifications: 2+ years of experience in business development, sales development, or outbound lead generation required. Relevant combination of education and experience will be considered in lieu of sales experience Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, life sciences, or communication Proven ability to consistently meet or exceed quotas Strong understanding of early-funnel marketing and sales dynamic Advanced research and qualification capability Experience working in CRM platforms (Hubspot, Salesforce, etc) Experience in B2B environments in healthcare, clinical research, and life sciences is a plus AutoCruitment’s BAR for Success: Better Together facilitates open conversation and develops buy-in.
