We’re looking for a creative, detail-oriented Media Editor to shape the visual identity of European Relations across articles and other publications. This fully remote and part-time role gives you space for your own ideas and visual creativity.
As European Relations is a non-profit organisation, all positions are volunteer and unpaid. What You’ll Do
Source compelling, rights-cleared images for European Relations publications
Co-create special publications, contributing layout ideas and visual storytelling
Propose new visual concepts and style directions to elevate our design across formats
What We’re Looking For
Creativity and a strong sense for visual aesthetics
Familiarity with Canva or basic knowledge of WordPress, as well as copyright law in Germany/the EU is beneficial but not required; you’ll quickly learn everything you need
No specific expertise is required; instead, we rely on your intuition and sense for selecting images that reflect an article’s essence
Part-time availability and reliability: 5 – 7 hours per week (can be arranged individually), with around 1 hour per day on average; fully flexible and can be distributed freely throughout the day
Flexible, fully remote work with a thoughtful, collaborative team of international editors and authors
Build/expand your portfolio in visual design for European affairs & publishing
Help shape our visual presentation – your ideas are always welcome
