Our team is growing and now comprises over 150 employees spread across locations in Germany, the UK, France, Spain, Italy, Brazil and the US. As Publisher Sales Manager your passion is customer acquisition, upsell, and retention. You identify and win new business partners built for the long term. Through your market analyses, you identify new opportunities at an early stage and develop new sales strategies. In doing so, you always keep an eye on the further development and optimization of our product and its distribution in order to contribute to the further growth of Bookwire. Your responsibilities
Customer acquisition and care
You coordinate, organize, and monitor all sales processes—from start to finish. You process daily inquiries from potential new customers. You identify potential customers and business partners, e.g., publishers and other content creators in the US and contact them. You will develop and maintain relationships with our new customers to secure long-term partnerships. You will be the point of contact for prospective customers for all questions relating to the digital distribution of e-books, audiobooks, and print-on-demand products. You will conduct contract negotiations with publishers and other content creators. You represent us at trade fairs, conferences, and other industry events. You develop sales strategies to increase revenue and implement them successfully. You keep a close eye on the market and conduct market analyses to identify trends and opportunities at an early stage. You regularly prepare reports and analyses on sales pipeline performance and derive appropriate measures. You optimize the sales of our digital product in close coordination with internal departments and customers. You participate in performance reviews, quality assurance, and the development of new offerings. You prepare and conduct presentations and education for internal stakeholders and external clients About you
5+ years of professional experience in sales for software-as-a-service or web platform solutions and/or ideally have experience in the media industry, e.g., in the field of e-books, audiobooks, or digital media. You love being a sales manager and you are a strong communicator and good negotiator and have a friendly, confident, and service-oriented manner toward customers and partners You have good CRM skills (ideally Salesforce) You are detailed oriented and have good organization skills You are a team player and look forward to being part of our dynamic team, taking responsibility and working together to shape and drive things forward.
