The opportunity We are looking for hungry and ambitious reporters to cover the secretive world of private credit. We want people who recognize a hot lead, have the tenacity to pursue it, and the writing skills to tell it to our readers — and leave them wanting more. You’ll build a network of sources, embed yourself in the market and sniff out the agenda‑setting scoops and analysis that keep 9fin ahead of the competition. What you’ll work on
Identify sources and build relationships
Report and write compelling news and feature stories
Develop a strong command of the corporate credit world
Navigate biases and have a strong obligation to the truth
About You
Are skilled at storytelling and making news meaningful

Have strong interpersonal skills and can easily spark conversation
Have a passion for high‑quality journalism
