Senior UX/UI Designer
GEICO is looking for an accomplished, customer‑obsessed, and results‑oriented Senior UX/UI Designer to collaborate with business partners and deliver design solutions that incorporate generative AI responsibly.
Location This hybrid role requires 2‑3 days onsite per week at New York City, NY; Palo Alto, CA; or Seattle, WA.
Job Responsibilities
Collaborate with product, engineering, and business teams to uncover customer and business needs.
Translate complex ideas into understandable concepts and solutions that evolve and enhance the product experience.
Understand and navigate emerging fields of ML, AI, and generative AI to deliver high‑quality design solutions.
Advocate for a responsible and ethical approach to AI in products and services.
Manage shifting priorities to provide clear direction and input on product prioritization and support early product definition.
Advocate for the customer through human‑centered design methods, including discovery, research, and user testing.
Facilitate and participate in workshops with internal and external stakeholders to align with business needs.
Create process and user flows, wireframes, journey maps, and user interface specifications.
Deliver design assets for acceptance, development, and market launch in partnership with engineering.
Basic Qualifications
5+ years of experience (or 3+ years with a master’s degree) in User Experience design.
2+ years of experience with agentic, virtual agent, or similar products.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience designing for cross‑channel interfaces (responsive web and native mobile).
Experience working collaboratively with AI/ML and Data Science teams.
Experience with multimodal generative AI platforms.
Demonstrated ability to work across design processes: user research, UX design, UI design, and specifications.
Solid knowledge of ML, AI, and generative AI systems and capabilities.
Ability to collaborate with Product Management, Engineering, and Operations teams.
Effective communication and storytelling skills.
Proficiency with Figma and other design tools to deliver concepts and enable collaboration.
Familiarity with working in an established design system and agile development teams.
Annual Salary $109,675.00 – $172,200.00
