Overview
Service Specialists recruiting agency is seeking a UI Designer/Web Designer for a well‑established marketing agency. This role focuses on designing modern, high‑performing web experiences and applications for a variety of digital products. The ideal candidate is a strong designer first, with bonus points for coding experience or a willingness to grow technically. This is a collaborative, hands‑on role working closely with developers and leadership on meaningful software and web projects.
Key Responsibilities
Design intuitive, visually compelling user interfaces for websites, applications, and digital products
Own the look and feel of web-based platforms and software applications
Collaborate with developers to ensure designs are implemented accurately and efficiently
Contribute to UI standards, component libraries, and design consistency across projects
Participate in project planning and creative discussions with cross‑functional teams
Iterate on designs based on feedback, usability considerations, and technical constraints
Qualifications
Strong experience in UI and web design
Solid understanding of modern web design principles and best practices
Experience designing for applications and software products is a major plus
Open to candidates who are:
Strong designers with some coding exposure OR
Strong coders who are eager to be trained further in web/UI design
Ability to work independently while collaborating with a distributed team
Work Arrangement
Candidates must be within approximately a 3-hour radius of Ridgeland, MS
Occasional in‑office collaboration required
Competitive base salary: $65K–$85K, with flexibility for senior‑level talent
