Job Summary STAFFXPERT LLC is seeking a Technical Writer on behalf of our client in Washington DC. The ideal candidate will produce high-quality written materials and project status reports for federal and District-level agencies. This role requires a detail-oriented professional with strong communication skills and the ability to translate complex information into clear, concise, and audience-appropriate documentation.
Key Responsibilities
Develop, edit, and maintain technical documentation, project reports, and other written materials for federal and District officials.
Prepare administrative content, including presentations, meeting agendas, meeting minutes, and status reports.
Collaborate with project teams to gather information and ensure accuracy and compliance with organizational standards.
Ensure all documentation aligns with professional writing standards, including AP Style where applicable.
Required Qualifications
Proven experience producing technical documentation and project reporting for government or corporate clients.
Strong organizational, administrative, and time management skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with meticulous attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications
Certified Professional Technical Communicator (CPTC) – Society for Technical Communication.
Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS) – Microsoft.
AP Style or other recognized professional writing certification.
Familiarity with federal or District reporting requirements.
