Overview Processes a variety of customer transactions at a teller window. Recognizes customer needs and recommends products, services, or assists with other bank employees or departments, consistently delivering superior customer service.

Responsibilities

Strong knowledge of bank products and services, ability to recognize customer needs, and cross-sell bank products

Participate in the bank's referral program and utilize applicable technology to demonstrate results

Meet referral goals on a weekly, monthly, quarterly, and/or yearly basis

Operate and balance a terminal and cash drawer daily

Accept and process savings, checking, Holiday Savings accounts, loan payments, SDB rental payments, sell money orders/official checks, and any type of cash withdrawal

Accept checks for cashing per FNB check handling procedures

Participate and complete all required training courses

Be flexible and promote a teamwork-friendly environment

Assist with money shipments/orders and associated duties

Perform additional branch duties beyond transaction processing

Handle all cash, customer transactions, and customer information in line with FNB Security Policy and Procedures

Motivate making outbound sales calls to current and prospective clients

Flexibility with work schedules to meet branch staffing needs

Maintain confidentiality of customer business and personal information

Accept projects assigned by a supervisor to add value to Farmers National Bank

Work positively in a team environment with coworkers and the public

Complete mandatory and elective training, including BSA and Anti-Money Laundering procedures; maintain compliance

Regular, predictable attendance is essential

Complete all other duties as assigned

Education and Experience

High School diploma or General Education degree (GED)

Proven cash handling experience

Basic computer skills and knowledge of using a calculator, typewriter, phone, fax machine, and other office equipment

Customer service and/or sales experience at any level

E-Verify is used to confirm identity and employment eligibility of newly hired employees
