This internship plays a hands‑on role in supporting that mission—helping create compelling content, support campaigns, and deliver communications that reflect Allegacy’s values and enhance the member experience.
Nature and Scope This is a part‑time summer internship for college students, working up to 20 hours per week based on business needs.
Interns will gain exposure to the fundamentals of marketing within a financial services environment—digital marketing, content creation, social media, event support, and brand strategy. They’ll work alongside experienced professionals and gain visibility into how Marketing initiatives support both member engagement and organizational goals.
This internship is designed to build foundational marketing knowledge while also developing professional skills such as creative thinking, project management, and cross‑functional collaboration. Interns will also gain insight into how Marketing interacts with other departments to ensure a consistent and impactful member experience.
Specific Accountabilities
Demonstrate Allegacy’s shared values: helpful, hopeful, honest, hungry & humble in all work and interactions
Support the Marketing team with day‑to‑day operational and project‑based activities
Assist in creating content for digital, print, and social media channels
Participate in campaign planning and execution, including internal and external communications
Help organize and support member events and community initiatives
Collaborate with other departments to ensure marketing materials are accurate, timely, and aligned with Allegacy’s brand
Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with the highest level of integrity
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities This role is best suited for students with an interest in marketing, communications, public relations, or related fields, particularly within a financial services environment.
Preferred Qualifications Include
Strong attention to detail and creative thinking skills
Interest in digital marketing, social media, content creation, and event coordination
Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office; familiarity with design or marketing tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite) is a plus
Strong communication and organizational skills
Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively within a team
Curiosity, initiative, and a willingness to learn
