Community Bank Business Lender

represents the heart of community banking—building strong relationships while delivering tailored banking and lending solutions to meet the unique needs of local businesses. A trusted financial partner, this position is instrumental in driving bank growth and profitability by developing new business, expanding existing client relationships, and serving as a trusted, knowledgeable resource in the communities we serve. Responsibilities

Develop, manage, and expand a portfolio of small business and commercial banking relationships Originate, analyze, structure, and close commercial and small business loans Perform financial analysis, credit evaluation, and loan underwriting in accordance with bank policies and regulatory standards Proactively identify opportunities to cross-sell a full suite of banking products and services Maintain strong knowledge of banking regulations, compliance requirements, and lending best practices Serve as a responsive, relationship‑focused advisor to clients, delivering exceptional customer service Collaborate with internal teams to ensure efficient loan processing and ongoing relationship support Actively participate in community and business development activities to enhance the bank’s local presence Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field 3+ years of lending experience, including small business and commercial lending 3+ years of demonstrated experience in financial analysis, credit evaluation, and loan underwriting Proven success in business development, relationship management, and client engagement Strong understanding of banking regulations and compliance standards Excellent time management and organizational skills with strong decision‑making abilities Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, financial modeling tools, and relevant banking software Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills with a community‑focused mindset
