
Measurement Analyst Jr.

The primary purpose of the Measurement Analyst position is to organize, analyze, interpret, and validate measurement data directly related to Salt Creek Midstream assets. The position will be responsible for identifying problems/opportunities with measurement data and determining potential solutions. In addition, the position will provide support, when needed, for upstream and downstream business groups.
Audit Elynx tags, descriptions, and data points
Install new measurement installations in Elynx
Develop Elynx reports supporting Field Measurement Technician functions
Add/Remove Elynx alarms as needed.
Conduct point verification from Elynx to FlowCal
Obtain and input measurement data into various spreadsheets and associated measurement applications.
Provide queries and reports for special data requests from internal and external sources for measurement related information
Investigate data flow from field device through Elynx into measurement software (transactional systems) and solve issues
Perform queries and reports for special data requests from internal and external sources for measurement related information
DTD Responsibilities
Run FlowCal exceptions report and correct problems accordingly
Add or delete meters working with field measurement build out new meter information in Elynx, TestIt and FlowCal
Run Missing data report, work with field measurement to obtain missing data
Distribute missing data to customers
Check daily balance reports, report abnormal balances
Organize and file FlowCal, Sample and Elynx Field reports
Analyze daily input reports from field measurement
Job Qualifications
A minimum of 2 years of gas/liquids pipeline measurement analysis industry experience
High school diploma or equivalent required
Moderate to advanced computer skills in Microsoft Applications such as Outlook, Word, PowerPoint
Advanced MS Excel skills required
Moderate to advanced knowledge of gas and liquid measurement industry standards
Moderate to advanced skills in gas and liquid measurement data analysis, data trending and data auditing
Must be able to work with a team in a collaborative environment, take direction from supervisor(s), focus attention on details, adhere to work schedules, and follow work rules
Must be able to successfully perform multiple tasks with strict deadlines
Ability to organize and prioritize daily work including the ability to quickly change priorities with little advance notice
Ability to maintain strict confidentiality when required
Ability to communicate effectively
Preferred experience, Skills and Knowledge
Experience with measurement transactional systems including Flowcal
A general understanding of the midstream sector
Experience of NGL, Gas and Crude measurement
Physical Demands
Light physical activity performing non‑strenuous daily activities of an administrative nature
Ability to sit and use a computer for extended periods of time
