The community engagement lead will help to build the foundational brand of Aspen Peaks School District by operationalizing the Superintendent's vision of Gratitude through the capture and distribution of high-impact stories.
Essential Functions
Manages district's social media accounts
Sets the pace of the content calendar
Manages website content
Acquires photos of key district personnel and events
Assists with organizing public events
Responsibility
Helps ensure organizational alignment to the Superintendent's vision and the strategic communication plan
Performs other communications-related duties as assigned
Skills
Capture, edit, and catalogue photos and video assets; proficient in Adobe Suite or similar, as well as Canva
Knowledge
Google Workspace
AP style
Event planning
Work Environment Job generally involves 50% sitting, 25% walking, and 25% standing; requires driving to various district facilities, including schools.
Requirements
Age 16+
High school diploma or equivalent
Must complete mandatory employee training within the first 3 months of employment
