We are seeking a dynamic and engaging Community Associate to join our team. Milford is a community-powered magazine that tells real stories, highlights local businesses, and builds neighborhood pride. As ourCommunity Sales Leader, you'll be the face of our magazine — helping connect us with business owners, nonprofit leaders, and community partners across Omaha.
Responsibilities
Reach out to Omaha-area businesses and nonprofits to sell feature packages
Set up calls, follow-ups, and guide clients through the onboarding process
Represent Milford at festivals and community events
Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting environment within the community space.
Handle inquiries and resolve any issues or concerns from members promptly and professionally.
Utilize customer feedback to improve services and member experiences.
Maintain records and conduct follow-up outreach via email, phone, or in-person visits
Experience
5+ years in sales, customer service, outreach, and community development
Confident communicator and relationship builder
Organized and self-motivated — able to work independently
Familiarity with Google Workspace, Monday.com, Slack
Passion for supporting small businesses and community storytelling
