
Neuroscience Sales Specialist (Fayetteville, NC) - Johnson & Johnson Innovative

Job Responsibilities
Follow compliance guidelines to drive sales performance and achieve forecasts within the assigned territory by calling on HCP offices and Mental Health Community Centers in‑person and virtually.
Use assigned budgets to reach territory objectives, customizing discussions and client interactions based on customer needs in a compliant and ethical manner.
Maintain current understanding of local market, practice structures, evolving customers, and key influencers and share such information with relevant internal stakeholders.
Provide input into resource allocation decisions across customers/region and identify the most appropriate programs/resources for each customer, practice, and/or system.
Work with the Regional Business Manager and key stakeholders to develop a local business plan that ensures achievement of all business objectives and capitalizes on formulary approvals and other business opportunities.
Collaborate with other Neuroscience Sales Specialists on common objectives and best‑practice sharing.
Provide timely and accurate administrative management of work hours, sales call data, customer objectives, communication responses, synchronization, sample, and expense reporting.
Build a business plan based on depth and breadth of customer business needs, resources, and products.
Complete all company and job‑related training within the required timelines.
Job Requirements
Minimum of two (2) years’ experience in healthcare sales/account‑management, or business‑to‑business sales, or recent transition from Active‑Duty Military.
Three or more years of sales experience in specialty pharmaceuticals preferred.
Experience with launch, antipsychotic, and/or bipolar sales highly preferred.
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university, valid driver’s license, and safe driving record.
Strong desire and passion for improving the lives of patients and their caregivers; emulates patient‑centricity.
High integrity and adherence to the Company’s Compliance policies and procedures.
Self‑motivation, initiative, entrepreneurial spirit, excellent judgment, and strong teaming/collaboration and cross‑functional skills.
Proven track record of learning and adapting to evolving environments such as Covid‑19 to overcome obstacles.
Agility to adapt to changing telemedicine/virtual environments.
Ability to analyze data/metrics to assess progress against objectives and identify new opportunities.
Experience establishing new customer relationships and communicating technical information to diverse audiences.
Work hours may include meetings outside normal business hours; some overnight travel may be required.
Periodic domestic travel to corporate headquarters, training, and sales meetings.
Ability to perform essential functions of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation.
