FCM Meetings & Events is seeking an Event Travel Consultant to support the delivery of seamless, policy‑compliant travel for live, virtual, and hybrid events. This role plays a critical part in coordinating flights, accommodations, and ground transport while partnering closely with event managers, planners, and attendees. You’ll help bring global events to life through precision, collaboration, and exceptional service. This is an ideal opportunity for someone passionate about travel, detail, and creating positive delegate experiences.

Key Responsibilities

Assist event attendees with booking flights, accommodation, and ground transportation in line with event travel policies

Ensure accurate ticketing and adherence to event deadlines and restrictions

Track and manage booking status for all event attendees

Liaise between attendees and meeting planners to gain approval for exceptions, special requests, or deviations

Maintain clear, timely, and accurate internal documentation within meeting management systems

Deliver professional, customer‑focused communication with clients, delegates, and internal stakeholders

Respond to enquiries within agreed timeframes and ensure satisfaction with resolutions

Support event‑related and general administrative tasks to maintain business operations

Communicate proactively with lead planners and project teams before, during, and after events

Participate in training and development opportunities as directed by the Business Leader

Maintain compliance with company policies and employment regulations

Contribute to a safe, inclusive, and accessible work environment where all Flighties feel welcomed, respected, and supported to thrive

Experience & Qualifications

Must have GDS experience; Sabre experience strongly preferred.

Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

Previous experience in travel management, demonstrating high‑touch service.

High school education required

Experience in a service‑oriented industry with a focus on customer relationships

Strong attention to detail and accuracy in high‑volume work

Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively

Strong communication and problem‑solving skills

Willingness to learn, grow, and take ownership of outcomes

Ability to remain calm and positive in busy or high‑pressure situations

We anticipate offering an hourly pay rate of $28.85 plus commission/incentive earnings based on achievable targets. Hourly rate is dependent on relevant factors, including experience, geographic location, and job requirements.
