Position Overview: The Mortgage Loan Processor will be responsible for performing a variety of loan documentation duties on complex loan packages and ensure compliance with policies and procedures for loan products. The Mortgage Loan Processor will be responsible for delivery an outstanding customer experience with direct customer communication. Candidates must possess a strong sense of urgency with an ability to work in a team environment, maintaining excellent organizational, communication (verbal and written), and PC skills.
Essential Job Functions:
Regular, reliable, and predictable on‑site presence during standard business hours is an essential function of this role due to operational requirements and client needs.
Manage an assigned pipeline of 25-50 plus loans on a daily and weekly basis
Process loans from application to funding including but not limited to:
Collecting and analyzing documents to submit to Underwriting for final approval
Communicating expectations, requirements and program details through established communication standards
Maintain daily workflow prioritization to ensure pipeline management meets required closing dates
Order all required verifications, documentation and subsequent follow-ups and ensures all timeframes and compliance requirements are being met
Verify conditions of approval which may include customer income/assets documentation, resolve routine title issues including vesting issues, child support liens, judgment liens, mechanic liens and undisclosed liens and reconveyances
Provide excellent customer service to internal and external clients by demonstrating expertise, thoroughness, thoughtfulness, politeness and enthusiasm
Ensure customer service surveys maintain the rating level designated by management
Communicate with all parties involved in the transaction to keep them informed of file status
Review and analyze all necessary documentation, including borrower docs and third-party docs
Follow policies while analyzing applicant information, property and documentation
Comprehensive understanding of credit underwriting guidelines
Must be flexible and able to work in a fast paced, potentially stressful environment
As 100% of the work opportunities are onsite, in person attendance is required
Requirements:
5+ years of current Loan Processing experience
Knowledge of processing, underwriting and closing procedures
Excellent customer service and direct customer contact
Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
Detail oriented and excellent organizational skills
Able to prioritize multiple competing tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment
Problem-solver with strong analytical skills
Adheres to directives, procedures and standards
Handling sensitive or confidential information in a controlled environment
Ability to work in a paperless environment
Computer proficiency including Microsoft Office Product Suite
Candidates must be available to work outside of normal business hours when necessary
We expect and require in‑person collaboration with team members and leadership
Participation in on‑site meetings, briefings, and workflow coordination
Access to on‑site systems, equipment, or materials
Real‑time issue resolution requiring physical presence
