Event Marketing Consultant, Visionlink

Job Summary
Caterpillar’s VisionLink marketing team is hiring an Event Marketing Consultant to manage the planning, organization, execution, and measurement of a wide range of events that support the growth of VisionLink. This role collaborates closely with internal stakeholders and external partners to deliver high‑quality, brand‑aligned experiences that advance the VisionLink marketing strategy.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee project processes and procedures; monitor the productivity and performance of the project team.
Manage all aspects of projects, setting deadlines, assigning responsibilities, and monitoring and summarizing progress.
Ensure adherence to project schedules and completion of project goals.
Prepare reports for the team on project status or potential issues.
Manage vendor/supplier engagement.
Qualifications & Experience
Experience supporting large‑scale tradeshows and industry events.
Experience planning and executing hospitality events to promote products and solutions in B2B environments.
Strong understanding of event‑based product promotion and customer engagement.
Familiarity with Caterpillar customer industries (e.g., construction, mining, energy, transportation) is a plus.
Experience coordinating with cross‑functional teams, vendors, and agencies to deliver seamless event experiences.
Compensation & Benefits Salary range: $97,530.00 - $146,290.00. Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job‑related knowledge, skills, individual performance, and experience. Salary is one component of total compensation.

Position will be located in either our Peoria, Dallas, Chicago, Denver, or Cary, NC office.
5 days a week onsite.
Estimated travel up to 50% of working time.
