Role Description This full‑time, on‑site Event Manager role is based in Olney, MD. The Event Manager will oversee and coordinate every aspect of events hosted at The Manor at Silo Falls, ensuring a smooth and memorable experience for all clients and guests. Responsibilities include event planning, logistics coordination, vendor communication, budget management, and day‑of execution. The role requires the ability to manage multiple events, lead cross‑functional teams, and provide exceptional customer service.
Qualifications
Event Planning, Scheduling, and Logistics Management skills
Vendor Coordination and Budget Management experience
Strong Communication and Client Relationship Management skills
Leadership and Team Management abilities
Problem‑Solving, Time Management, and Organizational skills
Ability to adapt and stay calm under pressure
Proficiency in event management software tools and tools such as MS Office
Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Event Planning, or related field is preferred
Experience working within the hospitality or event industry is a plus
