Overview Works under the direction of the AVP, Communications and Marketing, and the Marketing Manager to promote UF Health Jacksonville hospitals, service lines, and primary and specialty care practices. Responsible for developing and executing integrated marketing campaigns, creating and editing content for newsletters, advertisements, brochures, and web platforms, and supporting digital and brand initiatives. Monitors and evaluates online reputation, analyzes digital performance metrics, and assists with planning and coordinating special events.

Responsibilities

Promotes UF Health hospitals, service lines, and primary and specialty care practices through integrated marketing initiatives

Develops and executes marketing campaigns across print and digital platforms

Writes and edits high-quality content for advertisements, brochures, web, social media, and internal communications

Monitors and evaluates online reputation and brand perception

Analyzes digital performance metrics to assess campaign effectiveness and guide strategy

Plans and executes special events and promotional activities

Assists leadership in conducting research, developing marketing strategies, and overseeing campaign execution and measurement

Creates content, including copy and basic graphic design, for social media and employee newsletters

Coordinates still photography and video shoots; supports TV, radio, and video interviews by developing outlines and scripts

Assists in maintaining and updating external website content

Supports departmental planning and sponsorship-related events

Attends staff and management meetings as requested

Acts as a liaison with vendors to support marketing initiatives

Serves as an ambassador of the organization, representing UF Health professionally

Performs other duties as assigned within the scope of the role

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field

3–5 years of experience in marketing or communications

Knowledge of AP Style or journalistic writing standards

Experience in digital marketing, including strategy development, measurement, and reporting

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Demonstrated project management experience supporting marketing initiatives and deliverables

Proficiency in PC systems and software, including Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Adobe Acrobat Pro, and project management platforms

Familiarity with office equipment (copier, fax) and basic knowledge of photography equipment and editing software
