Marketplaces Analyst

CarParts.com, Inc is seeking an outstanding Marketplaces Analyst with a proven record of applying data mining and statistical analysis techniques like hypothesis testing, segmentation and modeling to analyze large amounts of data. The candidate must have strong experience in data analysis, coding, and model experimentation with ability to drive business with the data-generated insights. The ideal candidate has a deep interest in supply chain, business strategy, and operation and must be comfortable working with a wide range of stakeholders. The candidate will be working closely with department leadership teams to improve supply chain processes. You Will Be responsible for analyzing data from various sources and automate dashboards and reports Work with department leadership teams to identify gaps in the system and suggest solutions Investigate and identify potential areas to improve database and supply chain planning Monitor and track new system developments/deployments/enhancements Partner with cross functional teams closely to ensure optimal stock position Work with business stakeholders on data analysis and data optimization Execute special ad-hoc tasks or projects promptly when needed The ability to work with others in a team environment, the ability to take direction from supervisors, the ability to follow work rules and procedures, and the ability to accept constructive criticism Assist where needed Follow all safety rules You Must Have Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, and Science or any quantitative field and 3+ years of related full-time work experience after graduation. Experience with building Dashboards (Tableau, PowerBI) Experience working with SQL (MySQL and MSSQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB) DBs, Databricks Experience in Python, specifically Pandas, NumPy, and Data Visualization libraries High level of skill in Excel and comfortable working with large data sets in Excel environment Solid understanding of principles of inventory management and replenishment process Knowledge of international supply chain and overseas import experience is a plus Detail management - provide detail analysis of item performance Ability to identify inconsistencies in data and perform validation Self-motivation and a determination to succeed Innovative ideas followed by clear planning & implementation A reasonable estimate of the salary range for this position based on job experience, education level, global geographic region, etc: $90,000 - $110,000 Equal Opportunity Employer CarParts.com is an equal-opportunity employer.
