Company Overview This opportunity supports a leading engineering and construction organization delivering critical infrastructure across power generation, transmission and distribution, and heavy industrial markets. The company operates in high-impact environments including petrochemical and industrial facilities, where safety, compliance, and execution precision are essential to project success.

Primary Function The Contractor Compliance Specialist plays a key role in ensuring contractors and vendors meet all safety, regulatory, insurance, and client-specific requirements. This position supports project execution by keeping contractor qualification processes clean, current, and audit-ready across multiple active projects.

Key Responsibilities

Manage contractor compliance within platforms such as ISNetworld, Avetta, Veriforce, VERO, and similar systems

Review and track contractor documentation including safety programs, OSHA logs, EMR ratings, insurance certificates, training records, and licenses

Verify contractor qualifications align with scope of work requirements

Monitor compliance scorecards, alerts, and audit readiness indicators

Communicate documentation gaps and corrective actions to contractors and internal teams

Maintain organized compliance records and internal tracking tools

Track expirations for insurance, certifications, and licenses to ensure continuous compliance

Support third-party audits and assist with corrective action responses

Partner with Safety, Procurement, and Operations teams to ensure contractor readiness

Prepare compliance summaries and status reports for leadership

Support process improvements across contractor compliance workflows

Work Environment & Requirements

Primarily office-based with occasional visits to industrial or construction sites

Ability to walk job sites with uneven terrain when required

Must be able to wear PPE including hard hat, safety glasses, steel-toe boots, and FR clothing during site visits

Occasional extended hours may be required based on project needs

Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship

Additional Skills

Strong organizational skills with attention to detail

Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and document management systems

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Safety, Business, Construction Management, or related field preferred, equivalent experience considered

3+ years of experience in construction, industrial safety, compliance, or coordination roles

Experience with ISNetworld, Avetta, Veriforce, or similar contractor compliance systems strongly preferred

Working knowledge of OSHA regulations and contractor qualification standards
