Morning Anchor, MMJ, KMGH
Denver7 (KMGH-TV), Denver, CO, United States
KMGH, the E.W. Scripps ABC station in Denver, Colorado is looking for a Morning Anchor who is a reporter first – a dynamic journalist who breathes breaking news and sees the newsroom as a launching pad, not a destination. We want a storyteller who doesn’t just read the news, but chases it, lives it, and actively shapes the narrative. Every day, you’ll be more than an on-air presence: you’ll be pitching in editorial meetings, calling sources, and embedding yourself in the community. The role demands someone who is consistently visible, engaged, and passionate about local storytelling – not a "house cat" waiting for news to arrive, but a field-ready professional who views the anchor desk as just one of many platforms to connect with our audience. If you're a journalist who sees every day as an opportunity to dig deeper, showcase untold stories, and truly represent Denver's heartbeat, KMGH is looking for you.
