The Role We’re hiring a
Senior Technical SEO Manager
to
own and execute the technical SEO strategy
for a growing CPG DTC ecommerce brand. This role is built for someone who has
personally driven organic growth in ecommerce , understands complex product ecosystems, and is comfortable being accountable for performance—not just recommendations.
You will operate as the
single owner of technical SEO , working cross‑functionally with engineering, product, and growth teams to turn strategy into shipped impact.
What You’ll Own
End‑to‑end
technical SEO strategy and execution
Organic traffic, conversion rate, and revenue performance
SEO architecture for large‑scale ecommerce sites
Technical SEO for PDPs, PLPs, faceted navigation, filters, pagination, and internal linking
Crawl efficiency, indexation, and site health
SEO inputs for launches, migrations, and platform changes
What You’ll Do
Build and maintain a
prioritized technical SEO roadmap
aligned with growth goals
Lead deep technical audits and turn insights into action
Partner with
engineering and product
to ship SEO improvements
Define SEO requirements for new features, templates, and releases
Identify and resolve crawl, duplication, rendering, canonical, and performance issues
Own Core Web Vitals and site speed optimization
Monitor performance, troubleshoot volatility, and uncover upside
Report clearly on outcomes—connecting SEO work to revenue and business KPIs
Required Experience Must‑Haves
5–8+ years of hands‑on
technical SEO experience
Direct experience in
CPG and/or DTC ecommerce
(required)
Proven track record growing
organic traffic and revenue
Experience owning SEO for sites with
1,000+ SKUs
Deep understanding of ecommerce SEO mechanics
Ability to own strategy, prioritization, and execution independently
Nice‑to‑Haves
Shopify Plus, headless commerce, or custom ecommerce platforms
SEO leadership during migrations or replatforming
International and multi‑market SEO experience
Platforms & Tools You Should Be Fluent In Analytics & Measurement
