Heavy Civil Estimator
AtkinsRalis is seeking a Heavy Civil Estimator to join our team in either Denver, CO, San Francisco, CA, Houston, TX or Alexandria, VA. This is a hybrid role. Organizes, coordinates and manages required staff resources to complete estimate report deliverables. Acts as lead interface with client and related project team members and plans for scope of the project based on client expectations, WBS requirements and requested deliverable formats. Sets up project in CATO with agreed upon format. Provides guidance to all staff involved in estimate and compiles, issues and follows up on RFIs to the project team in order to resolve technical questions related to the estimate. Reviews project financials including Project Status Report (PSR); updates financials monthly and identifies any potential issues to manager for review and action. Reviews deliverables for completeness and provides overall quality assurance check prior to issuance of report. Reviews benchmark information and provides global check of reports. Summarizes variances and identifies key estimate cost drivers for project team review. B.S. or M.S. in Civil Engineering, Architecture or Construction Management. Minimum of 10 years of related transportation cost estimating experience. Participation in Alternatives Analysis, Value Engineering, Risk Analysis as needed.
