How Will You Make an Impact? As a Pricing Analyst, you will develop tools to help guide the business in setting strategic prices, implementing price/volume improvement programs, and tracking Price/Volume impact. You will identify, validate, and quantify new pricing improvement opportunities across the entire product and service portfolio for the Life Sciences Group (LSG). Key Responsibilities Provide subject matter expertise to the LSG organization on pricing strategy and execution Develop and drive data-driven pricing guidelines and tools for business units Offer analysis and technical support for pricing initiatives, including setting list prices and determining customer-specific discounts Determine new product introduction price positioning by collaborating with marketing, product management, and finance teams Prepare executive-level reports detailing findings and opportunities to increase price attainment Build ad-hoc modeling and analysis related to price/volume tradeoff Minimum Qualifications On-site requirement: 4 days per week at our Thermo Fisher location: US Carlsbad, CA 5823 Newton Drive. Must have current and relevant experience in SQL Experience in Analytics or Data Science Proficient in advanced Excel and other Microsoft Office applications Python programming preferred but not required Power BI (DAX / Power Query (M)) preferred but not required Strong creativity, drive, and communication skills Excellent interpersonal abilities, relating well to individuals from a diverse group of backgrounds Ability to travel ( Education and Experience Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in business, operations, mathematics, economics, or a scientific field Compensation Competitive Salary: ~$90,000 $115,000 base Bonus Potential: 9% annual The salary range estimated for this position based in California is $75,000.00$115,000.00. This position may also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company, team, and/or individual performance results in accordance with company policy.
