Summary
Balfour Beatty Construction is seeking a Mission Critical / MEP Assistant Superintendent to work for our Large Projects Group in Dallas, TX. This individual will work on high-profile, technical projects in the DFW market. This role will assist the Superintendent by managing designated field activities associated with projects and supervising designated field construction work by subcontractors and employees. The Assistant Superintendent assists the project team to ensure the project is built on time, within budget, and in accordance with Balfour Beatty Construction’s policies & procedures. Thirty hours of OSHA training is required once every four years, unless the individual maintains STS certification. Essential Functions
Preconstruction Services Project Start-up and Scheduling Project Administration, Operations, and Close-Out Promote Customer Relations Promote Culture, Leadership and Employee Development 4 or more years of construction experience Proficiency using a personal computer (PC) and company communication tools, such as email, the internet, and Microsoft products (e.g., Word, Excel, Office, Outlook) Ability to read plans and specs Able to meet minimum driving record requirements Current OSHA 10 certification (Must obtain OSHA 30 within 90 days) Preferred Experience
B.S. in construction Scheduling experience sequencing experience using software applications or Microsoft excel. Data center project experience Current CPR/First Aid certification or obtain it within 90 days Benefits
