At Wayline, we’re building AI voice operators that handle leasing, maintenance, and tenant communication for thousands of rental units.
We’re looking for a Founding Product Designer who doesn’t just design—builds, ships, and obsesses over product quality end-to-end.
This is not a Figma-only role.
What You’ll Do
Own the end-to-end product experience across voice, UI, and workflows
Design and ship AI‑native interfaces where humans and agents interact seamlessly
Use tools like Claude Code to go from idea → production (not just prototypes)
Define product architecture, interaction patterns, and system design
Obsess over speed, clarity, and beauty in every detail
What We’re Looking For
Exceptional UX judgment — you simplify complex systems into intuitive experiences
Strong visual design taste — you care deeply about how software feels
Experience shipping real product (not just mocks or prototypes)
Comfortable using AI tools to build (React / web stack + Claude Code)
Deep interest in AI × human interaction design (agents, copilots, automation)
Obsessed with design systems
Bonus
Experience with dev tools, internal tools, or workflow-heavy products
Experience designing for AI systems, copilots, or conversational interfaces
What This Role Is
You are the owner of product experience
You will shape how customers interact with AI day-to-day
You will work directly with the founders and customers and ship constantly

Not a pixel pusher
Not a design systems-only role
Not someone handing off to engineers
