UX/UI Designer
The UX/UI Designer is responsible for designing intuitive, user-centered digital experiences across Becklar's products and platforms. This role blends user experience strategy with high-quality visual design to create interfaces that are both functional and engaging.
With a strong foundation in research, interaction design, and visual storytelling, this individual will collaborate cross-functionally to translate complex workflows into simple, elegant solutions. The UX/UI Designer will also contribute to design systems, ensure consistency across products, and continuously improve the user experience through data-driven insights and user feedback.
What You'll Do / Key Responsibilities
- Design intuitive and visually engaging user interfaces for web and mobile applications
- Conduct user research, usability testing, and analysis to inform design decisions
- Translate complex workflows and technical requirements into simple, user-friendly experiences
- Create wireframes, prototypes, user flows, and high-fidelity mockups
- Collaborate closely with Product Managers and Engineers throughout the product lifecycle
- Maintain and evolve design systems, UI standards, and best practices
- Ensure consistency and usability across all digital products and platforms
- Use data, user feedback, and analytics to iterate and improve designs
- Present design concepts and rationale to stakeholders and leadership
- Balance user needs, technical constraints, and business objectives in all design decisions
- Advocate for user-centered design principles across the organization
- Stay up to date with industry trends, tools, and emerging UX/UI best practices
- Support accessibility and inclusive design standards across all products
- Participate in cross-functional planning, sprint reviews, and design critiques
What You'll Need / Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in UX Design, Graphic Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of professional experience in UX/UI design or product design
- Strong portfolio demonstrating end-to-end design process and impactful user experiences
- Proficiency with design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar
- Experience creating wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs
- Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and usability best practices
- Experience working in agile or product-driven environments
- Ability to conduct and apply user research and usability testing insights
- Strong visual design skills including typography, layout, and interaction design
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with design systems and component-based design
- Basic understanding of front-end development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a plus
- Experience designing for SaaS, enterprise platforms, or operational tools is preferred
