Job Description Job Title: Video Editor Job Summary Bring stories to life within each brand's unique DNA, using produced content. Primary Responsibilities Creatively edit video files and execute graphic layouts from storyboards, meetings, or edit sessions with the director to support brand and product initiatives, campaigns, and sales promotions. Color correction and sound design as needed. Lead presentation meetings with articulate understanding and explanation of strategy, identify needs, provide solutions, and recommend with cross‑functional teams. Archive file management of raw footage/layered working files to keep it organized and accessible to all other editors and department heads. Must work as a team player to instill trust and facilitate a good working environment with the creative team. Have a positive attitude, work well under pressure, problem‑solving skills, be detail oriented, and prioritize and work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment. Process Develop an understanding of all processes, brand standards, and products. Requirements Must have a 4-year degree in film or focus on video editing. Must be proficient in editing with Adobe Premiere, experience with video compression and Photoshop. Working knowledge of the workflow of video production on set as well as on/off line editing. Must have good communication skills, take initiative, and be self‑motivated. Plus’s Aftereffects – a plus but not mandatory.
