About The Role
AWS Night shift, 6 pm – 6 am, 3–4 shifts per week; rotating schedule including every other weekend. $20/hr + $1/hr shift differential.
Responsibilities
Operate relevant packaging equipment and ensure appropriate minor maintenance is carried out, with a focus on preventive rather than reactive maintenance.
Deliver key performance indicators (KPIs) measured across multiple shifts (e.g., overall equipment efficiency, waste, documentation accuracy, safety observations, near misses).
Work with leadership to plan changeover activities, ensuring they are adequately resourced and continuously improved.
Take a proactive, preventive approach to safety, health, and the environment.
Experience
One year or more machine operator experience on high‑speed packaging equipment in a food, chemical, or pharmaceutical environment.
Skills for Success
Specific awareness of quality/Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP).
Knowledge of manufacturing environment, GMP, and safety standards.
Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and meet targets and KPIs.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and walk/stand for long periods.
Strong communication skills for department collaboration.
