We are partnered with a reputable Houston-based General Contractor that delivers high-quality projects across the retail, healthcare, restaurant, and broader commercial sectors. With a strong pipeline of work, they are looking to bring on an experienced Construction Superintendent to support ongoing and upcoming projects across the Houston area. This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing contractor with consistent local work and a solid reputation in the market. The Role: As Superintendent, you will be responsible for managing all on-site construction activities, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities: Oversee day-to-day site operations from ground-up through to completion Manage subcontractors, site personnel, and trades Maintain and drive the project schedule Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company standards Coordinate inspections and ensure quality control throughout the build Lead daily/weekly site meetings and communicate progress with the project team Identify and resolve on-site issues proactively
Requirements: Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Superintendent with a General Contractor Proven experience on retail, healthcare, restaurant, or commercial construction projects Strong understanding of construction methods, sequencing, and scheduling Experience working on projects in the Houston market is highly preferred Excellent leadership and communication skills Ability to manage multiple trades and maintain project timelines
