Fresh Produce Processor
Employee will work in a food processing facility working on a production line team to create finished good products. Essential Responsibilities Must be able to stand for a minimum of 2 hours to work at each processing station. Able to work in cold a refrigerated environment of 34 -37 degrees. Must be able to lift a minimum of 25lbs. frequently. Processing food according to HACPP regulations. Cut food items to recipe specification. Weigh servings to meet product weight requirement. Pack items in designated containers or bags per customer order. Report discrepancies to supervisors. If the line is down, may be required to rework on other product or clean up processing line and floor area. Other duties as assigned Required Skills and Experience High school education or up to 6 months related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Ability to comprehend simple instructions. Ability to read/write/record data and perform simple mathematical calculations (reading scale). Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Must follow instructions, respond to management direction. Attendance is critical; employee must be dependable to report to work on time as scheduled. Required to follow "Safety policy" and report accidents or unsafe work conditions.
