Nevada Athletics is recruiting for a Director, Production and Broadcasting. This position provides leadership and technical direction for all athletic broadcasting and production operations within Intercollegiate Athletics (ICA). The position supports ICA programs and external departments in promoting and enhancing the Nevada Athletics brand through high-quality digital and broadcast delivery. The Director develops and implements a strategic plan to maximize ICA's digital impact and ensure consistent, professional presentation of Wolf Pack Athletics across multiple platforms. This role oversees the design, setup, and operation of permanent and temporary studio and control room environments, collaborating with the Conference and university entities to align production standards and new initiatives. Through expert coordination, supervision, and execution, the Director ensures that all broadcasts reflect the excellence and competitive spirit of the University of Nevada's athletic programs. The position reports to the Assistant Athletic Director, A/V and IT Technology Key duties include but are not limited to: Direct day to day operations and strategic planning of all broadcasting functions for Nevada UNR Athletics events Provides leadership for scheduling, staffing and coordination of all live and recorded broadcasts to ensure quality, consistency and adherence to NCAA and conference standards Work with the Associate AD to align broadcast plans for revenue generation through broad based advertising strategies and external media partners Oversee all technical aspects of live game production, including camera operation, replay systems, graphics and audio engineering Lead pre-production planning meetings with internal staff and announcers to establish production logistics, camera angles, run-of-show, and technical execution Manages all control room operations, ensuring all systems meet event and technical requirements for broadcast Provides supervision, scheduling, and guidance for broadcasting staff and student employees supporting live and recorded productions. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree and three (3) years of related work experience; OR a master's degree and two (2) years of related work experience Related Experience: Broadcasting and video production or related.
