Capture and shape day-to-day GWU stories. You film, edit, pitch ideas, and jump in as on-camera talentall under guidance from the Social Media Manager. Key Responsibilities Film dorm tours, student takeovers, event recaps, and Q&A segments Edit short-form video with captions, music, and hooks optimized for each platform Assist with event logistics (camera gear, lighting, setup) Post content on schedule and monitor basic metrics Contribute fresh concepts in weekly planning sessions What You'll Need At least one semester completed at GWU Working knowledge of mobile video editing apps Reliability for 7.5 hrs/week and campus event coverage Willingness to appear on camera when needed Review of applications will begin immediately and continue until the position is filled.
