Salary Range $17.00 Hourly Position Type Seasonal Description
Guest Relations Associates perform a broad range of guest services activities during the Los Angeles County Fair. They are responsible for assisting guests with directions, vendor and event information, and problem solving. PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Responsible for greeting guests, providing direction and information on Fair events Distribute daily fair guides and maps to guests Assist with guest complaints and/or comments Qualifications
SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES
Must have basic computer skills
Must have Customer Service experience
Must be able to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing
Must be able to utilize company-provided app or web-based timekeeping system to clock in and out
Must be able to demonstrate basic technology proficiency, including the ability to use a mobile device or computer to record work hours accurately PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS OF JOB
Must be able to stand for prolonged periods of time
Must be able to move around the fairgrounds
Must be able to work flexible hours, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays (including every day of the fair)
Must be able to lift at least 25 lbs.
Must be able to work in extreme weather conditions, including heat, cold, and rain
Must have reliable transportation to and from work
