About the Role
The Company is seeking a Managing Director for Equity Capital Markets with a focus on FinTech. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and managing the firm's ECM efforts in the FinTech sector, including IPOs, follow-on offerings, and private placements. This role demands a highly experienced leader with a deep understanding of the FinTech market, strong client relationships across the digital finance ecosystem, and a proven track record in executing successful equity capital market transactions. Key responsibilities include setting strategic direction for the FinTech-focused ECM team, ensuring high-quality execution, mentoring junior bankers, and maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements. The role also involves building and nurturing client relationships within the FinTech space, identifying new business opportunities, and serving as the primary point of contact for strategic and transactional guidance.
Candidates for this position should have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, with an MBA or advanced degree preferred, and at least 10-15 years' of investment banking experience, particularly in equity capital markets. Direct experience with FinTech companies in ECM or broader capital markets transactions is strongly preferred. The ideal candidate will have a proven leadership track record, strong analytical and financial modeling skills, exceptional communication and presentation abilities, and the capacity to cultivate relationships with FinTech executives, investors, and industry partners. A strategic thinker with a high degree of professionalism, integrity, and judgment, the Managing Director will be expected to drive revenue growth, manage budgets, and contribute to the firm's FinTech strategy.
