About the Role
The Company is in search of an Investment Banking Managing Director with a focus on M&A, Capital Markets, or Special Situations. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the end-to-end deal origination process, overseeing transaction execution, and serving as a trusted advisor to clients. This role demands a senior leader with a proven track record in closed transactions, deep market relationships, and the ability to mentor and grow high-performing teams. The Managing Director will be expected to manage engagements across various investment banking activities, represent the firm in industry networking, and collaborate with internal leadership to support growth strategies.
Applicants must have 10-20+ years of investment banking experience, with a strong emphasis on M&A, Capital Markets, or Special Situations/Restructuring. The role requires a candidate with a proven ability to originate deals and successfully close transactions in the middle market, as well as strong industry relationships and the technical proficiency to win advisory mandates. An entrepreneurial mindset, exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills are essential. The Managing Director will also be responsible for mentoring and developing junior bankers, fostering a culture of excellence, accountability, and continuous learning within the firm.
