As a Principal Cybersecurity Architect at JPMorganChase within Cybersecurity Technology and Controls, you'll shape and evolve our cybersecurity architecture using modern cloud technologies and help teams adopt strategic global solutions. You'll partner across the firm to identify, communicate, and reduce risk-driving secure, scalable outcomes that raise the bar for how we build and run platforms.
Job responsibilities
Advise cross-functional teams on technology choices that improve cybersecurity toward a clear target state Build multi-year cybersecurity architecture roadmaps aligned to business priorities and architecture strategy Design scalable public-cloud coding frameworks, system patterns, and process templates for new solutions Develop secure, production-quality code; review, debug, and improve code written by others Act as a go-to cybersecurity architecture expert and drive thought leadership within the product line Advance cybersecurity technical methods aligned to modern product development approaches Create durable, reusable software frameworks that improve delivery speed and quality across teams Formal training or certification in security concepts, plus 10+ years of applied experience in cybersecurity. Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
Hands-on cybersecurity architecture experience that can be applied and reused across businesses, functions, and systems Fluency in one or more programming languages Deep knowledge of one or more software or application domains Advanced knowledge of cybersecurity architecture, applications, and technical processes, with deep expertise in at least one technical discipline (e.g., public cloud, AI/ML, mobile) Experience applying new methods to solve complex architecture problems in one or more technical disciplines Ability to present clearly and communicate effectively with senior leaders and executives Understanding of the business and awareness of emerging internal and external risk trends Experience leading a product as a product owner or product manager Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
