Product Designer (UX/UI) – Specialist- Application Lifecycle Management Overview PTC is looking for a talented, experienced, and enthusiastic Product Designer (UX/UI) well‑versed in creating compelling user experiences across all digital platforms. In this hybrid UX and UI design role, candidates should deeply understand user‑centered design principles, requirements gathering, interaction design, prototyping, visual styling, and design aesthetics, and have an interest in the technical aspects that bring designs to life. They should be proficient in communicating and translating the ideas of the team into presentable formats, as well as championing collaborative design techniques. Role As a Product Designer, you will be responsible for executing high‑quality product design for PTC’s Application Lifecycle Management products. In This Role, You Will Define interaction, behavior and workflows for web applications with an emphasis on AI native experiences. Create and rapidly iterate on mock‑ups, prototypes, specs and production visual assets such as graphics and icons. Collaborate closely with a global team of product managers, senior designers, and engineers to deliver valuable, high‑quality features that balance product requirements, technical constraints, and user needs and motivations. Build rapid prototypes for user testing, conduct user research with our customers, and synthesize results for stakeholders. Explore broad ranges of solutions in concepts and detail designs, drawing from industry standards as well as new technologies and interaction patterns. Leverage and contribute to PTC’s design system to ensure cohesive experiences across the PTC product suite. Contribute to the creative energy of our team by bringing a unique perspective that helps us see the world differently and inspires us to be better at all that we do. Skills And Preferred Qualifications 1‑3 years of professional product design experience. A portfolio that demonstrates your product design talent. Ability to communicate, articulate your design decisions, and consider feedback from product managers, engineers, and other designers. Proficiency in using Figma for UI and UX design and documentation. Bonus Skills Experience in ALM, PLM, or other industrial software. Experience in enterprise SaaS products. Experience in designing accessible applications. Basic Qualifications BA, BS or BFA. Salary Annual salary range: $86,000 – $100,000. Compensation may also include performance‑based bonus and equity programs.
