Summary /Objective

The Marketing Art Director is a creative leader overseeing advertising campaigns and projects, ensuring innovative concepts align with goals, deadlines, and budgets. Responsibilities include managing creative teams, approving content, optimizing workflows, and presenting insights to stakeholders, driving impactful and high-quality results.


Position Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

Creative Leadership

  • Develop innovative concepts, guidelines, and strategies for campaigns.
  • Revise and approve content to ensure high-quality output.
  • Supervise the creative team’s work and maintain excellence in all deliverables.
  • Translate business objectives and marketing goals into innovative and effective creative concepts.

Project Management

  • Lead the ideation, design, and execution of marketing campaigns from concept to completion.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop and present creative proposals and ensure alignment with campaign objectives.
  • Oversee the creation of assets for social media, email, websites, advertising, product launches, and events.
  • Align project goals with deadlines and budgets.
  • Optimize workflows and manage design processes for efficiency.

Collaboration & Communication

  • Collaborate with executives to establish objectives and project direction.
  • Present project outcomes and insights to clients and stakeholders.
  • Act as a liaison between creative and non-creative teams to ensure clear communication and understanding of project goals.

Team Development

  • Recruit, train, and mentor team leads.
  • Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Provide constructive feedback and ensure the team meets deadlines and maintains quality standards.

Budget Management

  • Involved in initial creation of annual, quarterly, and monthly budgets.
  • Oversee and manage the creative department’s budget.


Qualifications and Competencies:

  • Expert knowledge of traditional and digital marketing, content marketing, and social media marketing
  • Experience using data analytics software for research
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Microsoft Excel proficiency
  • Adobe Acrobat (Editing/Managing PDF Documents), Adobe Photoshop and Adobe InDesign


Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Fine Arts, Marketing, or a related field
  • 10+ years working in a similar role
