Avalon Test Equipment, Dallas, TX, United States

You close deals. We provide a team and cultureworth closing them for.

Account Executive · Full-time · Hybrid (Eastern USA)

The product you're selling

Since 1998, Avalon has been the go-to source for electronic test equipment — sales, rentals, repairs, calibration, and everything in between. ISO 17025 certified with RF and wireless specialists. A team that actually knows the gear. Now with offices in Carlsbad and Dallas, we're growing — and we need the person who's going to grow with us....but that's not our main product.

We sell customer service through solving our customer's problems through building relationships and providing value and support for our customer's long-term success.

What you'll actually do

Hunt & win: Identify, engage, and close new clients. Build a book of business you're proud of.

Solve, don't pitch: Understand what customers actually need, then match them to exactly the right solution.

Own your accounts: Manage relationships, negotiate deals, and deliver results — then do it again.

Collaborate to win

Work with technical and operations teams to make every customer experience exceptional.

"The kind of role where you're not just selling a product — you're solving a problem. And our customers notice the difference."

You're built for this if you

Have a track record in sales, business development, or account management — and the stories to prove it

Listen first, pitch second — because you've learned that's how deals actually get done

Can hold your own in a conversation about RF amplifiers, wireless communications, or general-purpose test equipment (or are ready to learn fast)

Know your way around a CRM and actually use it — not just when someone's watching

Stay organized when things get busy, and stay calm when a deal gets complicated
