JOB TITLE:
JOB SUMMARY:
The Server Assistant is responsible for assisting the Cocktail Server while providing superior guest service, serving beverages, food and amenities in all areas of Legacy Club.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Responsible for practicing, supporting and promoting the Company Service Standards at all times
Responsible for daily set up and breakdown of the venue.
Responsible for following all designated emergency procedures and understands duties in the event of an emergency
Assist the Cocktail Server with serving beverages and food (when applicable) to guests
Assists guests with request, offering appropriate alternatives seeking assistance as necessary
Understands and is well versed in resort features and services including all outlets, hours of operations, activities and events available to guests
Attends required training
Looks for opportunities to assist peers, guests, other departments or leaders
Maintain venue cleanliness in accordance with Clark County Health Standards
QUALIFICATIONS:
Must be at least 21 years of age
A minimum of 1-2 years work experience in a high volume beverage and hospitality setting
Must possess excellent communication skills
Must be able to communicate in English
Ability to initiate and maintain an upbeat and relaxed environment on a consistent basis
Strong knowledge of spirits, wine, champagne and mixed cocktails
Experience in bottle service preferred, but not required
Ability to work within a team environment and maintain a positive “whatever it takes” attitude
Previous model experience preferred, but not required
Must be able to work all shifts and days including opening and closing shifts
Must possess basic knowledge of the Las Vegas area and attractions
Willingness to participate in promotional campaigns & promote upcoming events via social platforms
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
Must have or be able to obtain all required Nevada work cards (Health, TAM, Non-Gaming)
PHYSICAL, MENTAL AND WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Requires normal, corrective vision range, the ability to see color and the ability to distinguish letters, numbers and symbols
Manual dexterity to operate job related equipment
Performance of job duties will require standing, walking, lifting, reaching, pushing, pulling and grasping. These tasks include the maintenance and care of assigned area. Constant contact with fellow team members and Guests
Ability to stand for long periods of time
Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds
Extreme weather conditions both hot and cold, indoors and outdoors
May be exposed to second hand smoke and a loud environment
Must be able to handle prolonged periods of sun exposure
