Your Role at Sephora The Employee Relations team acts as a bridge between employees and Sephora with the intent to support the overall employee experience. Through functioning as a neutral resource, the ER team serves to drive consistency and fairness, assess workplace culture, investigate escalated concerns such as workplace discrimination, retaliation, or harassment and provide consultative support. The ER team will continue to support all employees with mediation, dispute resolution, assess the business climate and recommend strategies to consistently improve upon the employee experience at Sephora.

Job Summary Reporting into the Sr. Employee Relations Investigator, this role will handle employee relations issues, investigations, and provide subject matter expertise for employee concerns across Retail and Field Support Center (Corporate). Additionally, the ER Investigator will stay current on employment laws, regulations, and best practices to ensure the integrity and effectiveness of investigations.

What You’ll Do

Conduct thorough investigations into allegations of company policy violations with varying levels of complexities across Sephora US (Retail, Corporate, and Distribution Centers).

Make recommendations and provide guidance with respect to corrective action, separations, performance management, policy interpretation, leave of absence, accommodations, and other complex and sensitive employment matters.

Support internal ER projects/initiatives as needed.

Travel up to 5-10%

Ability to handle cases across multiple US regions/time zones and Business Units

What You’ll Bring Experience

Complex Workplace Investigations including Executive Level (Retail and Corporate required) – 5+ years

HR and ER experience in Corporate and Retail Environments – 5+ years

Education

Bachelor’s Degree

Certification and Licenses (Preferred)

Juris Doctor, Association of Workplace Investigators

What You’ll Get: The annual base salary range for this position is $99,025.00- $131,765.00. The actual base salary offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include, as applicable, the applicant’s qualifications for the position; years of relevant experience; specific and unique skills; level of education attained; certifications or other professional licenses held; other legitimate, non-discriminatory business factors specific to the position; and the geographic location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will perform the job. Individuals employed in this position may also be eligible to earn bonuses. This job will be posted for a minimum offivedays.
