Your Role at Sephora The Employee Relations team acts as a bridge between employees and Sephora with the intent to support the overall employee experience. Through functioning as a neutral resource, the ER team drives consistency and fairness, assesses workplace culture, investigates escalated concerns such as workplace discrimination, retaliation, or harassment, and provides consultative support. The team continues to support all employees with mediation, dispute resolution, assessing the business climate, and recommending strategies to consistently improve the employee experience.

Job Summary Reporting into the Sr. Employee Relations Investigator, this role will handle employee relations issues and investigations, and provide subject matter expertise for employee concerns across Retail and Field Support Center (Corporate). The ER Investigator will stay current on employment laws, regulations, and best practices to ensure the integrity and effectiveness of investigations.

What You’ll Do

Conduct thorough investigations into allegations of company policy violations with varying levels of complexity across Sephora US (Retail, Corporate, and Distribution Centers).

Make recommendations and provide guidance regarding corrective action, separations, performance management, policy interpretation, leave of absence, accommodations, and other complex and sensitive employment matters.

Support internal ER projects/initiatives as needed.

Travel up to 5-10%

Ability to handle cases across multiple US regions/time zones and Business Units

Qualifications

Experience : 5+ years complex workplace investigations including executive level (Retail and Corporate required); 5+ years HR and ER experience in corporate and retail environments.

Education : Bachelor’s Degree.

Preferred Certifications : Juris Doctor, Association of Workplace Investigators.

Competencies and Skills : Workplace Investigations; strong written and verbal communication; executive presence; mediation/conflict resolution; interpersonal relationship building; ability to influence across functions/business groups.

Compensation and Benefits The annual base salary range for this position is $99,025.00 - $131,765.00. Individuals employed in this position may also be eligible to earn bonuses.
