Avla US Insurance Company is expanding its operations in the United States, leading innovation in the Surety Bond market. We are seeking an Underwriting Assistant to join our U.S. team and play a key role in evaluating and processing surety bond applications.
Key Responsibilities
Preparing and organizing submissions for underwriter review.
Pulling personal credit report and business reports.
Maintaining account files and uploading documents in ImageRight.
Assisting with billing and the Alvadex process.
Issuing bid and performance & payment bonds
Following up with agents to close contract bonds in a timely manner.
Preparing general indemnity agreements.
Issuing commercial bonds not in the portal.
Preparing notices of cancellations.
Assisting agents with issuing bonds in portal.
Ability to go to post office or FedEx Box.
Additional tasks as needed by Commercial or Contract Department.
Qualifications
1-3 years of experience in surety underwriting.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
Attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
